I must say that getting through the first few chapters was heart breaking and hard to continue at times because of how Francine pulls you into her novels. I felt Marta's pain. But "oh, how He loves us so" was so evident in this story. I am sooo excited for tomorrow. Thank you, Francine, for challenging me in how I relate to others because of how I was reared. This novel was enlightening on why others may act the way they do - and certainly made me intraspective.
I have just finished both books and Oh My! They were wonderful. This story was beautifully written. You felt like you were part of their lives. I didn't even want the last book to end because I wanted more. I wish they could be made into a movie. It would be a beautiful Christian movie.
Thank you Ms. Rivers for sharing your God given talent with us.

Just as challenging as the first book, this was an excellent read. I have never read a book with so many pages. If only love was as awesome for all of us the way it was depicted in these books. My only disappointment was this book was the end.
I am now reading "Her Daughters Dream" and I can barely put the book down. I read "Her Mother's Hope" and both books are so full of hope and forgiveness. I had tears in my eyes when Jesus appeared to Carolyn. Christ's love for us never ceases to amaze me. Ms. Rivers, please write aother generational story about women, especially mothers and daughters.
i don't know when ur new book will reach ethiopia.i'm dying to read her daughter's dream. Ur books are extraordinary. U r really blessed wiz z gift of writting.
Thank you once again for a wonderful experience as I was reading `Her Mother`s Hope` with all it`s Great Life Lessons for us all. Much appreciated. Edith Luke
OH WOW...BREATH-TAKING.
Cant wait 4 ur next book Francine. This series had me sobbing like a baby and appreciating my family even more.
I read, till well into the night and completed the books within 4 days. My husband always says; I get lost in a book and no-one seems to exist around me!!!
I haven't found any author who has captured my imagination and kept me interested up until the very last page....WOW AND WOW AGAIN.
THANK YOU LORD FOR FRANCINE'S GIFT =)
The women's lineage caused me to reflect on my own marraige- and marriage in general. None of the women's youthful dreams and early marriage expectations came about. Circumstances took them all down very different paths than they had intended. I feel most betrayed for Marta regarding the boardinghouse. I've come to think that when counseling engaged couples it would be good to tell them to prepare for a future very different than they imagine. Then challenge them with the question of how they will deal with things not going as planned.
both books are amazing - the stories are told so beautifully. Heart wrenching yet so full of hope. I felt I had gotten to the women in this story personally.
It has inspired me to seek a more personal relationship with my Savior and to tell those close to me how I feel and not wait till it's to late.
There is nothing more heart breaking than regrets of things that could and should have been said but weren't.
Thank you! I look forward to more stories. I have read each one with enthusiasm.
May God bless you and the people you touch through your writing.
After finishing Her Daughter's Dream, I felt so inspired to love God more, my kids more, my parents more, and my husband more(with more passion). While reading, its like I am on a mini vacation from my life, and when I finish, I return to reality with new wisdom, energy and focus on what is really important in life. I thank God for the way he uses Francine to bless us all. I've sat in church for 30 years, and unfortunately sometimes I have a hard time paying attention to what is being preached. But not with these books, the message is always powerful and clear, and life changing. Next to bible study, this is my favorite way to hear God speak.
I just finished Her Daughters Dream. I will miss the Characters, each Women. But it reminds me how thankful I am for my Grandmothers, My Mom, who is now 72, my two sisters. Oh the secrets we hold, and the secrets exposed. My Mom's name is Carolyn, she is such a women of God, and has taught us with instruction, example, love and mercy. I've never been able to have children of my own, but a step daughter who has made me a Grandma. I hope I too will pass along the wisdom, only age, experience and God's love can bring. Thanks Francine for sharing your gift . Jeanne
Thank you Francine! Your gift, your insight, the imagery is amazing. I so appreciate how you put us right in the story and show of our Lords great love through these stories. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
This book, "Her Daughter's Dream" may be the best book I have ever read. I cried all the way through. So much of it was akin to my own life. God has given you so very much talent. I must order another of your books today. I love you in the Lord and look forward to meeting you in Heaven.
Wow, God have given you a gift of writing from the heart. I have been blessed by these 2 books. I have also been challenged to do things God's way and what am I leaving as my legacy. Thank you.

Your books are a lot of encouragment to me, they make me look within and without and above all i see God more.
Reading her mother's hope touches me so much as to how we relate with people based on our background without much of how those people would take it. It makes me want to relate with people from the point of love and not from my own experiaences.
Am looking forward to reading Her daughter's Dream!
I hope movies will be made of one or all of the stories that have been told by this wonderful writer. Keep giving us good Christian fiction. I can recognize all the biblical references that run thru every book. I love it
"..I have determined that about 80% of all perceived conflict is based on misunderstanding". This is a paraphrased quote from a book by a seasoned minister. I don't recall his name or that of the book, but I have always taken that sage wisdom to heart. If anyone knows the referenced author or book title, please post. The Marta's Legacy series portrays this truth so well in the relationships depicted. Also depicted so well, is the heart of our Father to reconcile mankind to Himself, each other and ourselves.

I have read all of your books......they intrigue and amaze me. I never want the book of yours im reading at the time to end. You are a true gift from god and an extraordinary christian writer. All my love to you and your family. Beth.
I hated for this book to end and finished it on our way home from shopping in a town 50 miles north of our city. Iq love to shop but read all the way there and back and was crying when I finished the book on the way home. I liked and disliked the ending. Redeeming Love the first of your books that i read and ow I'm hooked even though they are all lengthy books, I never want them to end, I take my iPad to bed because I just can't stop reading. I would love to meet you someday, I'm so hooked on your books.

Every time I read one of Francine's book I think it is my favorite.
This series has touched me in a new and exciting way, making me look at my relationships with my grandmother, mother and grandchild.
Thank you for your remarkable God given insights.
